Poor neglected blog

I've kind of been neglecting this blog because i've been working hard to get my new website up and running which has a blog within it.
Trouble is it's taking a while so perhaps i should update this blog a teeny weeny little bit.

I shot this lovely little girl on Sunday, she was so ultra cute, smiled all the time and couldn't run away from me, of course her parents were very nice too.

A little christening

Here is the Bishop of Bath & Wells baptising a little boy called Max in The Bishops Palace.
Max was ridiculously relaxed about the whole thing, not a peep came out of him during the whole ceremony.
The Bishop was very well behaved too.

Camera Clinic at the W.I.

I'm doing a little demo on Wednesday at our local W.I.
I'm going to set up my lights and pull up a volunteer or three and demonstrate how to pose a lady and take a few photographs which should be a good laugh.

I've also offered to answer (if i can) any questions people have about their cameras (and asked them to bring their manuals) and it seems that lots of people have questions about their cameras.
eg) what do the little symbols mean?

So to let me gage what type of questions might pop up please let me know if you have a question about your camera.
(it might be helpful if you told me what camera you have)

My crazy daughter

In years to come she'll kill me for posting photographs of her for all the world to see just how crazy she is, but seeing as she's not old enough to go on the internet on her own then i'll chance it.

Sometimes days in the garden make the best portraits.

Little Baby Max

This little fella was only about 8 or 9 days old at the time of his photoshoot, he was tiny but oh so mighty.
His parents Becky & Richard brought him over and he behaved beautifully.

Little baby Oliver

This is little baby Oliver who i photographed last week, he was just over a week old.
Vicky his mummy brought him in and he was so lovely.

Valentine's shoot at The Art Tree

On the eve of Wed 1st Feb, in aid of Valentine's day, I set up a photo studio at The Art Tree where ladies could come and have glamorous photographs done of themselves.
Isabel Aimee runs The Art Tree which is an Art Gallery based in the heart of Shepton Mallet. (The Art Tree Website)
It was a lot of fun spending time with all the ladies who came, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
