Andrew's scar

Don't look at the below photographs if you are at all squeamish, though i do have to say it's a very neat scar as scar's go.
Andrew (a good friend) had his second operation in six months to remove a tumour, this time lazer treatment was used and it was a very successful operation.
I wanted to take a photograph of the scar because hopefully he'll never have to have it again, and we women have bump shots when we're pregnant to remember how big our stomaches can stretch so why not have a portrait of a scar.

Laura & Paul's wedding - 16th July 2011

Here are some shots from Laura & Paul's wedding on the 16th July.
It was such fun to photograph and a lovely day (despite threatening rain)
I did in fact thoroughly enjoy myself.

A Church Commisssion

I was commissioned by the local church committee to photograph the three churches which are in our parish. This was because the very nice Revd Prebendary Peter Rapsey retires at the end of this month, and they wanted to give him a present of all three churches.

These are the three photographs that were chosen

And Sam Hook framed it for me

My girls posed for me with the huge mushroom that grandad made.
My work in progress is progressing.

Sisters, Sisters, there were never two devoted ...

These two are adorable, just full of smiles and laughter, oh and digestive biscuit at one point.
I photographed the older girl Ella about a year before when the mum was still pregnant with the little one, then by chance i got to photograph her again with her little sister, Daisy.

Now this old toy was a very good prop, they loved playing on it

The Royal Couple

I wanted to recreate that Royal Wedding portrait, the one that, that rather famous photographer Mario Testino did of Kate and Wills.
This one:

but unfortunately i do not have the lights, or the assistants or even the celebrity filled address book, so i made do with my sister and a couple of bowens in a very small flat, and this what we came up with:

This is my sister Polly and her boyf Chris, they make a lovely couple, and they posed for me without complaint which makes them the perfect models.

and here are a few more from the shoot.
