Daisy the flower fairy

I've wanted to do fairy portraits for a while and this is my first attempt, well i've photographed the girls with fairy costumes and fairy wings on, but that to me doesn't constitute a fairy portrait.

I want to try to create more like a flower fairy portrait styleee thing.

I need some good props like a mushroom (Grandad Nick might have a go at making one) delicate flowing dresses, and huge oversized plastic flowers.

This shot was one of many in a flower fairy shoot of four children.

I came back from London

Just a note to say that London was wonderful, I saw lots of people and took lots of photographs of friends and of the Olympics taking shape.

Going to London to visit the queen.

I am off to London this week for a few days, i am mostly going to catch up with old friends (not the queen i might add) but i will try to fit in a few shots whilst i'm up there.

Mist on field

Another day, another mist, but this time i caught a little bit of it in my camera before it slinked off out of shot.

Man with tree on his back.

My husband Marc, gave our cider apple tree a bit of haircut.

Whilst transporting it from one side of the garden to the other, I made him stop and wait 'all in the name of art' so that i could focus properly on him and the tree, though i think it was rather heavy.

Somerset landscape

I took this photograph this morning whilst driving around chasing the mist which looked so pretty, the mist however was disappearing faster than i could navigate the lanes, so instead i settled for a pretty vapour trail across the sky, and a bit of bright sunlight.

Farm Equipment

I'm not actually sure what these are or were (cos the farm is now empty), some kind of feeders i guess.
